If you've decided to stay at home for the weekend and want to spend your days binging something that will make you forget about the real world, then consider this list of a few binge-worthy TV shows to watch. The Chosen

The international hit streaming television series The Chosen, viewed well over 400,000,000 times, has garnered unprecedented success as the number 1 highest-grossing crowd-funded project of all-time and the first-ever multi-season show about Jesus Christ. The massively popular series is captivating audiences with its stunning cinematography, superb acting, and compelling storylines portraying the authentic life and ministry of Jesus as seen through the eyes of those who met him.

Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty

This classic about the LA Lakers and their dynasty through the 80s is a television show based on the Jeff Pearlman book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s which was developed by Max Borenstein and Jim Hecht for HBO. The Los Angeles Lakers basketball team's 1980s Showtime period starting in late 1979 is covered in the first season's 10 episodes and features renowned NBA players Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. John C. Reilly, Jason Clarke, Jason Segel, Gaby Hoffmann, Rob Morgan, and Adrien Brody are among the ensemble cast members. Adam McKay directed the pilot episode which aired on March 6, 2022. A second season of the show was ordered in April 2022. The show highlights the early lives of these basketball players and what it was like for them back in the day, while also showing how the Lakers became one of the biggest sports institutions today.


The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Based partially on Benny Medina's life, Andy and Susan Borowitz produced the American television sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. From September 10, 1990, through May 20, 1996, it was first broadcasted on NBC. Will Smith plays a fictionalized version of himself in the show, a street-smart youngster who was born and raised in West Philadelphia and is forced to live with his affluent aunt and uncle in Bel-Air where his way of life frequently conflicts with theirs. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, known as Smith's star vehicle for television and eventually his film career, was a major hit for NBC, running for 148 episodes over six seasons. On HBO Max in November 2020, a retrospective/reunion program including the original cast made its debut. If you're looking for something easy and relaxing to watch, this is a great comedy show to watch and the this timeless classic is available on both Sky and Netflix.

Chernobyl

Exclusively on Sky TV, this dramatic 2019 TV show centres on the 1986 Chernobyl tragedy and the subsequent cleaning attempts. Craig Mazin is the series creator and writer, while Johan Renck is its director. Jared Harris, Stellan Skarsgrd, Emily Watson, and Paul Ritter are among the ensemble cast's standout performers. The series was created for HBO in the United States and Sky UK in the United Kingdom. The five-part series debuted simultaneously on May 6, 2019, in the US, and on May 7, in the UK as it shows the catastrophic events that took place in Chernobyl including those who lived and worked inside the powerplant.
