Texas Longhorn Players With the Highest NIL Deals

College football season is always welcomed especially when the Texas Longhorns?play their first match of the season. After the historic NIL (name, image, and likeliness) policy change that allows college athletes to legally profit off their name, you may have?noticed your favorite players?scoring all sorts of lucrative brand deals. The Longhorns, in particular, feature numerous big-name players with some of the biggest NIL deals and values in the country as we move into the current season.

Arch Manning: $2.8 million

Arch Manning, a quarterback for the Texas Longhorns, is ranked No. 3 in the NIL top 100 and has an annual value of $2.8 million. He also ranks as the No. 1 Texas NIL player. The grandson of former NFL quarterback, Archie Manning, Manning is one of the most hyped up-and-coming prospects of the moment. His first NIL deal was with trading card company Panini America, who designed and produced a unique Prizm Black autographed card. The card was auctioned off for charity and sold for a record-breaking $102,500. Manning will also be in the upcoming?EA College Football 25 video game, along with over 10,000 other?prolific college football players. Each player will be paid $600, as well as given a copy of the game, in exchange for the use of the name, image, and likeness. On top of that, Manning was paid between $50-60,000 to promote the game.

Quinn Ewers: $1.9 million

Longhorns quarterback, Quinn Ewers, is the No. 2 Texas NIL player with a value of $1.9 million. Ewers has already signed over twenty NIL deals so far, which means he?s one of the biggest paid college sports athletes in existence. In the NIL top 100, he ranks No. 6. In 2023, Ewers partnered with brands like C4 energy, HEYDUDE, and 7-Eleven alone (the financial terms of these deals haven?t been disclosed). Most recently, he signed a deal with Nicholas Air, a private jet company, which makes him just the second player in NCAA history to ink a deal of this kind. Again, the public isn?t privy to the deal?s value, but it?s bound to be worth a pretty penny. Ewers will also be featured in the EA College Football 25 game, and has been paid $600 for his NIL.

Kelvin Banks: $968,000

With an impressive NIL valuation of $968,00, Kelvin Banks, an?offensive lineman for the Longhorns, is the No. 3 Texas NIL player. Like Manning and Ewers, Banks has also been paid $600 to be in the soon-to-be released EA video game. As for his other brand deals, last year Banks signed with Athletic Brewing, an award-winning non-alcoholic craft beer company, alongside other players. Banks was paid $50,000 for his NIL, as well as for signing autographs and participating in charitable events.

The Texas Longhorns feature big-name players with some of the highest NIL valuations right now. Manning, Ewers, and Banks certainly carry star power that also makes them ones to watch on the field this season.
